Greg PrinceGreg is the owner and head trainer of Woodridge Farm. Originally from Vermont, he made a name for himself breaking young horses and training riders while competing throughout Canada and the East Coast. Greg has qualified for and earned ribbons at some of the most prestigious horse shows in the country including Devon, Harrisburg, and the Washington International. He has also been a successful competitor in the Grand Prix at HITS Ocala, Vermont Summer Festival, and the Fidelity Jumper Classic. Along with training and riding, Greg is an active member in his zone and serves as the Zone 1 Young Riders/ Prix de States team coordinator. He has also spent the last 15 years building up a partnership with a colleague in Holland. Together they have imported and sold many top show horses.

Alixe SchwartzAlixe is a USHJA certified trainer who started at Woodridge Farm in 2011. A native of Wakefield, R.I., Alixe is a graduate of Miss Porter's School in Farmington, CT and earned a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. There she was the captain of the equestrian team in 2000. During her time as a rider at St. Lawrence, she helped the team win the American National Riding Commission (ANRC) National Championship in 1998 and the Intercollegiate Horse Show (IHSA) Reserve National Championship in 2001.
As a junior, Alixe also won numerous medals including over 40 AHSA, ASPCA, and USET Talent Search qualifying classes from 1992-95. She was named the 1992 Rhode Island Horseman's Association Junior Medal Reserve champion in addition to receiving the 1995 USET Gold Medal by winning 20 qualifying classes. Alixe is our resident professional. On top of teaching and riding she is the barn coordinator; responsible for all general horse management and scheduling. Alixe lives in Holliston, MA. |
